DriftShop Short Shifter “Black Edition” for BMW E36 & Z3 Specifications

Made entirely from aluminium, this short shifter kit mounts directly onto your gearbox tunnel, in place of the existing shifter. The gear selector mechanism may need some adapting.

It offers multiple advantages : light weight (both shifter and knob together weigh less then 800g), quicker and more precise shifts. The shifter is longer than the OEM one, bringing it closer to the steering wheel, ideal for sporty and more intense driving.

The shifter comes with a gear knob engraved with the DriftShop logo. We advise only installing this shifter into vehicles used on track, for drifting and hillclimbs, with reinforced gearbox mounts (being secured to the gearbox tunnel, it’s important to limit movements between the chassis and the gearbox).
