PFC V3 Two-Piece Floating Discs Specifications

PFC Direct Drive V3 slotted 2-piece floating discs deliver high performance and durable braking for motorsport and leisure use. They provide excellent heat distribution throughout the braking surface for reduced lap times, longer life and better control. Compared to 1-piece parts, these 2-piece discs form a lighter assembly that reduces inertia and lowers unsprung mass.

These V3 discs are made of high carbon alloy with copper and molybdenum, which gives them a very high temperature resistance and extended durability. They feature both outward and inward-facing vanes for perfect balance and reduced vibration, and benefit from aerospace-grade heat treatment. Unlike a conventional bobbin/bolt fastening system, PFC has chosen to use a spiral locking ring to connect the disc to the hat. This patented innovation not only allows very quick assembly and disassembly without the need for tools, but also makes the whole disc even lighter.

Caution: It is recommended to use these discs only with PFC pads. Some OEM or aftermarket products have a higher profile than PFC pads and may come too close to the bottom of the friction area of the disc. This can create a stress zone and cause premature wear of the disc.
