RacingDiffs LSD Conversion Set Specifications

Developed by RacingDiffs, this set for Fiat allows you to convert an open differential into a limited slip differential (also called LSD). In case of traction loss, an LSD is designed to redistribute the engine torque to the wheel that has more grip. Spin is reduced on the unloaded tire and engine power is transmitted to the road more efficiently, improving traction and therefore cornering and acceleration.

RacingDiffs “progressive” limited slip differential set fits in the stock differential in the space between spider gears. Unlike other kits that rely solely on preload to lock the differential with high-rated springs, this one allows for low preload while maintaining progressive locking capability due to the specific ramp angle design. While during normal driving and cornering at low speeds the vehicle will feel like having an open diff, it will still transmit torque to both drive wheels under load (at higher rpm).

Everything in this set is built to last, from the premium tool steel friction shims to the high strength springs. Each part is also chemically heat-treated. The set is very sturdy and can handle high power engines, as it has been tested on a vehicle producing 600 Nm of torque without any reliability issues.

The RacingDiffs conversion set for Fiat offers a 25% locking percentage and comes with all the necessary parts for installation. It is ideal for road or sports use on trackdays, but is not designed for heavy duty (competition, drifting, slick tyres, and so on). It is available for Getrag M32 gearbox and is suitable for the following vehicles:
